What's the financial exposure to our association?+
Zero. There are no setup fees for the Standard tier. You earn royalties from the first member who subscribes — you never owe LeaseBase anything. The 12-month agreement is a commitment to try, not a financial obligation. If adoption is low, your earnings are lower, but your cost is zero.
What happens if the vendor gets acquired or shuts down?+
We get it. You've seen this go wrong before. LeaseBase is independent and founder-led — we are not funded by venture capital seeking an exit. Your partnership agreement includes a clause that if LeaseBase is acquired, the acquiring entity must honor your agreement, or you can exit immediately with all royalties paid out. Your members will never be force-migrated to a different platform.
Are other associations doing this?+
Yes. We're piloting with associations in California, Nevada, Washington, and Oregon. We're happy to connect you directly with an executive director already in the program so you can hear from a peer, not from us.
What if members don't use it?+
That's why we start with a pilot. Invite 25–50 of your most engaged members. Measure adoption over 60–90 days. If the numbers don't work, you can exit with 90 days' notice at the end of your term. You'll never be locked into a partnership that isn't delivering.
Does this compete with our compliance education?+
The opposite. Your association is the compliance authority — the educator, the advocate. LeaseBase helps members apply what you teach between your events. Every compliance alert says "your association recommends" — reinforcing your authority, not replacing it.
How much work is this for our staff?+
After a one-hour onboarding call, your ongoing effort is sharing a link. LeaseBase handles all product support, billing, and member onboarding. Your members contact us for platform issues, not your staff. You get a dashboard to track adoption and earnings without doing any of the work.
How and when do we get paid?+
Monthly ACH by the 15th. Itemized statement in your Partner Portal. Payments are structured as brand licensing royalties — tax-advantaged for 501(c)(6) organizations. Minimum payout is $25 (amounts below roll to next month). Accrued royalties are always paid out, even if the partnership ends.
Can we try it before committing to the full program?+
Yes — that's what the pilot is for. Your staff gets free accounts to experience the product. You invite a small group of members. We measure together. If the pilot proves the value, you go to your board with real data. If not, you walk away having spent nothing.
