I started self-managing rental properties in Sacramento with a duplex and a spreadsheet. As the portfolio grew to 40+ units, I learned firsthand how much time, money, and peace of mind landlords lose to fragmented tools and manual processes.

I built LeaseBase because no single platform addressed what independent landlords actually need: rent collection, maintenance coordination, lease management, compliance tracking, and financial reporting — without the overhead of hiring a property manager.

Before LeaseBase, I spent 15 years in enterprise technology — building and scaling software systems at companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500. I hold an MBA from California State University, Sacramento, and a degree in Computer Science.
