Before you start: Owner account with at least one property and unit added. See How to Set Up Your Property, Units, and Leases if you haven’t done this yet.
Go to Tenants
Open the Tenants section in your owner dashboard. You’ll see a list of all current tenants and any pending invitations across your properties.
Click Invite Tenant
Click the Invite Tenant button. Select the unit from the dropdown, enter the tenant’s email address, and optionally add their name. Then click Send Invitation.
Invitation is sent
The tenant receives an email with a link to accept the invitation. You can track the status in real time: Pending (sent, not yet accepted), Accepted, or Expired (link older than 7 days).
Resend or revoke
If the tenant hasn’t responded, click Resend to send a fresh invitation link. If you sent to the wrong email, click Revoke to invalidate the current link immediately, then send a new invitation to the correct address.
Common questions
What happens when the tenant accepts?
They create an account (or sign in if they already have one), are linked to the unit and lease, and can immediately pay rent and submit maintenance requests through their tenant portal.
Can I invite multiple tenants to one unit?
Yes. Send invitations to each co-tenant’s email address. All tenants on the same unit share the lease and charges — each co-tenant gets their own login and can pay their share independently.
