1

Check your email for the invitation

Look for an email from LeaseBase with the subject “You’ve been invited to join LeaseBase.” It contains a link to accept the invitation. Check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see it.

2

Click the Accept Invitation link

Click the link in the email. You’re taken to the LeaseBase acceptance page where you can create an account or sign in.

3

Create your account or sign in

If you’re new to LeaseBase, enter your name, email, and choose a password. If you already have a LeaseBase account from another property, just sign in with your existing credentials.

4

Your tenant portal is ready

After accepting, you’re linked to your unit, lease, and property. Your tenant dashboard shows your lease details, payment status, maintenance options, and messages. You can pay rent, submit repair requests, and view your lease immediately.

Common questions

I didn’t receive an invitation email. What do I do?

Check your spam or junk folder first. If you still don’t see it, ask your landlord to resend the invitation from their LeaseBase dashboard.

Can I use my existing LeaseBase account?

Yes. If you already have a LeaseBase account, just sign in when you click the invitation link. Your account is automatically linked to the new unit.

The invitation link says it’s expired. What now?

Invitation links have an expiration period. Ask your landlord to send a new invitation — they can do this from the Tenants section with one click.

Can two tenants be on the same unit?

Yes. Your landlord can send invitations to multiple tenants for the same unit. Both tenants see the shared lease, charges, and maintenance requests.
