How to Update Work Progress

Mark a repair job as in progress and then complete it when done.

Before you start: An approved work order.

Start work

After your quote is approved, open the work order and click Start Work. The status changes to In Progress and the owner is notified that the repair has begun.

Do the repair

Complete the work. While on site, upload before and after photos if applicable to document the repair. Photos are attached directly to the work order timeline.

Mark as complete

Click Complete when the work is finished. The owner and tenant are both notified. The owner can then review the completed work and close the request from their dashboard.

Common questions

Can I add notes when completing?

Yes. Add completion notes that the owner and tenant can see in the work order timeline. Notes are useful for describing what was repaired, parts used, or any follow-up recommendations.

What happens after I mark it complete?

The owner reviews the completed work and closes the request from their side. Your full timeline — from assignment through completion — is permanently documented on the work order.
