- You have a LeaseBase owner account with at least one property.
Open your payment settings
Go to Settings or the Payments section in your owner dashboard. Click “Set up payouts” to begin the Stripe Connect onboarding flow.
Complete the Stripe verification
You’re redirected to Stripe’s secure onboarding page. Enter your bank account details (routing and account number), verify your identity with a government-issued ID, and accept the Stripe terms of service.
Return to LeaseBase
After completing the Stripe flow, you’re redirected back to LeaseBase. Your payout status shows “Connected” and you see your linked bank account information.
Start receiving payouts
When tenants pay rent through LeaseBase, the rent portion (minus the platform fee) is automatically transferred to your connected bank account. Payouts typically arrive within 2 business days.
Common questions
Is my bank information secure?
Yes. Bank account details are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor. LeaseBase never sees or stores your full bank account number.
How long until I receive my first payout?
After connecting your bank via Stripe Connect, payouts typically arrive within 2–3 business days after a tenant payment is processed.
Can I change my bank account later?
Yes. Go to Settings and update your Stripe Connect bank account information at any time.
