Switch from RentRedi to LeaseBase

Export your properties, tenants, and payment history from RentRedi and import everything into LeaseBase in minutes. No manual data entry.

Step-by-Step: Export Your Data from RentRedi

  1. Log in to your RentRedi dashboard on the web (not the mobile app).
  2. Navigate to Properties. Click the floppy disk icon (export) in the top-right of the section to download your properties as CSV.
  3. Go to Tenants. Click the floppy disk icon to export your tenant list as CSV.
  4. Navigate to Finances → Rent Payments. Click the export icon to download payment history as CSV.
  5. For individual tenant ledgers, open a tenant’s profile, go to Ledger, and export as CSV or download as PDF.
  6. To export maintenance requests, go to Maintenance and use the export icon.
  7. For QuickBooks-compatible expense data, go to Finances → Expenses and export as CSV.

How LeaseBase Imports Your Data

  1. Upload — Drop your exported CSV, XLSX, or PDF files into the LeaseBase importer. Upload multiple files at once.
  2. AI classifies & extracts — Our AI identifies the document type, extracts properties, units, tenants, and lease terms automatically. Address normalization and fuzzy matching resolve formatting differences between files.
  3. Review & confirm — Everything is shown for your approval before anything is created. Green means auto-matched, amber means confirm. One click and your portfolio is live.

What Gets Imported

  • Properties — addresses, property types, ownership details
  • Units — unit numbers, bedrooms, bathrooms, rent amounts
  • Tenants — names, contact information, unit assignments
  • Leases — start/end dates, rent amounts, deposit amounts, lease terms

Payment history can be exported from RentRedi for your records, but LeaseBase starts fresh with rent collection — tenants get a clean ledger and a new payment portal from day one.

Why Landlords Switch from RentRedi

  • Compliance automation — RentRedi has no compliance features. LeaseBase tracks rent caps, deposit limits, and required disclosures for 60+ California cities automatically.
  • Full vendor management — Assign vendors, track work order progress, manage invoices, and coordinate repairs — all inside the platform instead of juggling texts and emails.
  • AI-powered insights — Market intelligence, smart briefings, and proactive alerts that go beyond basic rent collection and maintenance tracking.
  • White-labeled payments — Your tenants see your brand when they pay rent, not a third-party processor. No per-transaction fees charged to tenants.
